Itapoá is a municipality located in the northern region of the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. It serves as the northernmost municipality within the state, situated along its border with the neighboring state of Paraná.
The geographic boundaries of Itapoá are defined by several adjacent municipal areas. To the south, it borders São Francisco do Sul, while to the west, it shares a border with Garuva.
