Teixeira de Freitas is a city located in the extreme south of the Brazilian state of Bahia. It is situated along the margins of the BR-101 highway and covers a total area of 1,166 km2.
As one of the largest cities in the state of Bahia, Teixeira de Freitas had a population of 141,385 inhabitants as recorded in the 2022 Census.
