Caetité is a Brazilian municipality situated in the state of Bahia. It is located in the interior of the state within the semi-arid sertão region, positioned approximately 757 kilometres from the state capital, Salvador.
The municipality covers an area of 2,651.5 square kilometres and had a population of 52,012 inhabitants as of 2022. It shares borders with ten other municipalities in Bahia: Igaporã, Guanambi, Pindaí, Licínio de Almeida, Caculé, Ibiassucê, Lagoa Real, Livramento de Nossa Senhora, Paramirim, and Tanque Novo.
