Brumado is a municipality located in the interior of the state of Bahia, situated within the Northeast region of Brazil. It is specifically positioned in the Center-South mesoregion and falls within its own namesake microregion. The city is located approximately 555 kilometers from Salvador, the capital of Bahia.
The municipality covers a total territorial area of 2,207,612 square meters, with the headquarters occupying an area of 2,174 square kilometers at an altitude of 454 meters.
