Manacapuru

Manacapuru is a Brazilian municipality located within the Manaus Metropolitan Region in the state of Amazonas. Situated on the banks of the Solimões River, it is positioned approximately 93 kilometers from the city of Manaus by road.

The city serves as the third most populous urban center in the state of Amazonas, with a population of 101,883 inhabitants according to the 2022 Brazilian Census conducted by the IBGE. A primary point of infrastructure for the region is the Manoel Urbano Highway, which provides main access to the city and houses the Rio Negro Bridge. This bridge is considered essential for the integration and development of Greater Manaus.
