Adjohoun, also known as Adjohon, is a town, arrondissement, and commune situated in the Ouémé Department of Benin. The commune is geographically positioned approximately 32 km from Porto-Novo and 62 km from Cotonou.
The administrative structure of the commune consists of 8 arrondissements and 57 villages. While area measurements for the commune vary between sources, it covers a region of approximately 112 to 308 square kilometers. As of 2002, the population was recorded at approximately 60,112 to 60,955 people, with a demographic split of 48.14% male and 51.86% female.
