Boukoumbe

Boukoumbé, also referred to colloquially as Boukombé, is a commune located in the Atakora Department of northwestern Benin. It is situated along the border with Togo.

The commune is organized into seven arrondissements, which comprise 71 villages and urban districts. The region is characterized by its ethnic and religious diversity, notably featuring the indigenous Somba people who are recognized for their unique cultural celebrations and traditional dwellings.
