Malanville

Malanville is a city, arrondissement, and commune situated in the Alibori Department of northeastern Benin. It is geographically positioned across the River Niger from the country of Niger.

The commune covers an area of 3016 square kilometres and had a population of 168,006 as of 2013. Malanville is recognized as a significant center for rice-growing and serves as a hub for cross-border trade, featuring a major market.
