Kiremba is a small town located in the Commune of Bururi within the Bururi Province of southern Burundi. It is situated approximately 7 kilometres southeast of Bururi and 4.3 kilometres northwest of Buta.
The town is home to a Swedish Protestant School, which is noted for providing teachings that are more aligned with Anglican traditions. Historically, the area was impacted by violence on April 30, 1997, when members of the FDD killed several residents and burned the local hospital.
