Houndé is a city located in the province of Tuy within the Hauts-Bassins Region of Burkina Faso. It serves as a geographical point situated approximately 100 kilometres (62 mi) east by northeast of Bobo-Dioulasso.
The city lies along the trunk road Route Nationale N1, which connects to the capital city of Ouagadougou. It is positioned as a transit point within the country's regional infrastructure.
