Drongen

Drongen is a sub-municipality located within the city of Ghent in the province of East Flanders, situated in the Flemish Region of Belgium.

Historically, Drongen functioned as an independent municipality until it was annexed by Ghent. The integration process began in 1967 when a portion of the original territory was joined with Ghent, followed by the full merger of the remaining municipality on January 1, 1977.
