Brasschaat is a municipality situated in the Flemish province of Antwerp within Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium. The administrative area of the municipality consists solely of the town of Brasschaat proper.
The location gained international recognition in November 2006 when it was honored with the LivCom-Award for being designated as the most livable municipality in the world.
