Beersel is a municipality located in the province of Flemish Brabant within the Flemish region of Belgium. It is situated approximately 12 kilometres south-west of the center of Brussels.
The municipality covers a total area of 30.01 km² and comprises the towns of Alsemberg, Beersel proper, Dworp, Huizingen, and Lot. As of January 1, 2023, the population was 26,473, resulting in a population density of 856 per square kilometre.
