Jette is one of the 19 municipalities located within the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. It is situated in the north-western part of the region, sharing borders with several other local districts and neighboring Flemish municipalities.
The municipality is bordered by the City of Brussels, Ganshoren, Koekelberg, and Molenbeek-Saint-Jean to its south and east, as well as Asse and Wemmel to its north. In accordance with regional regulations, Jette is officially bilingual, recognizing both French and Dutch.
