Etterbeek is one of the 19 municipalities located within the Brussels-Capital Region in Belgium. It is situated in the eastern part of the region and serves as a local administrative division.
The municipality is bordered by Auderghem, the City of Brussels, Ixelles, Schaerbeek, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre. Like all municipalities within the Brussels-Capital Region, Etterbeek is officially bilingual, with both French and Dutch recognized as official languages.
