Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, also known as Sint-Agatha-Berchem or simply Berchem, is one of the 19 municipalities located within the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. It is situated in the north-western part of the region and shares borders with the municipalities of Ganshoren, Koekelberg, and Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, as well as the Flemish municipalities of Asse and Dilbeek.
As a municipality within the Brussels-Capital Region, Berchem-Sainte-Agathe is officially bilingual, utilizing both French and Dutch. The area serves as a suburban component of the capital's administrative landscape.
