Kalaroa is an upazila town situated in the Satkhira district of Bangladesh. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Kalaroa upazila and falls under the jurisdiction of the Kalaroa thana. The town is recognized as one of the major urban centers within the Satkhira district.
Geographically, Kalaroa is located on the bank of the Betna River. It is positioned approximately 18 km north of Satkhira and about 64 km southwest of Khulna.
