Bamna is a locality village situated in the Sabarkantha district of Gujarat, India. It is located approximately 8 km southwest of its Taluka headquarters, Himatnagar, and sits on the bank of the Hatmati Dam.
The village is notably recognized as the birthplace of Umashankar Joshi, a prominent Gujarati poet and literary figure often referred to as a "gem of Gujarat." Joshi served as the former President of the Gujarati Sahitya Parishad.
