Laksam is an upazila situated in the Comilla District within the Chittagong Division of Bangladesh. It is located approximately 29 kilometers south of Cumilla City and lies along the banks of the transboundary Dakatia River.
The area is historically significant as the birthplace of Nawab Faizunnesa Chowdhurani. It serves as a local administrative unit within the regional geography of southeastern Bangladesh.
