Satkhira

Satkhira is a town and district headquarters located in southwestern Bangladesh. It serves as the administrative center for both the Satkhira District and the Satkhira Sadar Upazila within the Khulna Division.

The city has a population of approximately 138,000, ranking it as the 35th largest city in Bangladesh. Notably, the region is characterized by having a large proportion of the Sundarbans, which is the mangrove forest of Bangladesh.
