Motijheel is a prominent central business district and a thana located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Situated immediately adjacent to the city's zero point, it serves as the nation's largest commercial and financial hub.
The area is characterized by having the highest concentration of high-rise buildings in Bangladesh and contains the largest number of offices in Dhaka. Due to its status as the primary downtown and city center, it is also known as bankpara in Bengali.
