Trebinje is a city and municipality located in the Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Situated in the East Herzegovina region, it serves as the southernmost city in the country. It is positioned on the banks of the Trebišnjica River and had a recorded population of 31,433 inhabitants as of 2013.
The city features an old town quarter known as the Walled town of Trebinje, which dates back to the 18th-century Ottoman period. A notable landmark within this area is the Arslanagić Bridge, also recently referred to as the Perovića Bridge, which spans the Trebišnjica River. Trebinje is recognized as one of the popular tourist destinations in the region.
