Derventa is a city located in the Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated within the Posavina region, positioned northwest of the city of Doboj.
As of 2013, the town of Derventa had a total population of 11,631 inhabitants. The broader municipality associated with the city recorded a total population of 27,404 residents during that same period.
