Orašje is a city located in the northern region of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It serves as the capital of the Posavina Canton within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is one of the two main entities of the country.
The city is situated on the banks of the Sava River, positioned near the national border with Croatia. As of 2013, the population of Orašje was recorded at 19,861 inhabitants.
