Jajce is a town and municipality located in the Central Bosnia Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity within the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated in the region of Bosanska Krajina at the confluence of the Pliva and Vrbas rivers.
The town serves as a geographical crossroads between Banja Luka, Mrkonjić Grad, and Donji Vakuf. According to the 2013 census, the population of the town is 7,172 inhabitants, while the broader municipality has a total population of 27,258 inhabitants.
