Ujar is a city located in Azerbaijan and serves as the capital and largest city of the Ujar District. The district is situated in the central part of the country within the Central Aran Economic Region.
The administrative area surrounding the city borders the districts of Agdash, Goychay, Kurdamir, and Zardab. As of 2020, the population of the Ujar District was recorded at 89,500.
