Shusha, also known as Shushi, is a city located in Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan. It is situated within the Karabakh mountains at an altitude ranging between 1.4 and 1.8 kilometres (4,600–5,900 ft).
During the Soviet era, the city functioned as a mountain resort. It remains a notable geographical location within the region's mountainous landscape.
