Aghstafa

Agstafa is a town and municipality located in Azerbaijan. It serves as the administrative capital of the Aghstafa District.

The history of the surrounding district involves several administrative changes over the 20th century. The Aghstafa District was originally established in 1939, abolished in 1959 to be merged with the Gazakh District, and subsequently reinstated as an independent district in 1990.
