Brändö is an island municipality located in Åland, Finland. It is characterized by a large archipelago consisting of numerous islands and islets, many of which are connected to one another via a network of bridges and causeways.
The municipality covers a total area of 1,643.21 square kilometres, with the vast majority of that landmass—approximately 1,540.41 square kilometres—consisting of water. It has a population of 430 people, resulting in a low population density of 3.97 inhabitants per square kilometre.
Brändö is unilingually Swedish, and 72.6% of its residents are Swedish speakers.
