Lemland is a municipality located in Åland, which is an autonomous territory of Finland. The municipality covers a land area of 113.21 km2 (43.71 sq mi) and had a population of 2,133 as of 2025. Swedish is the primary language spoken by the majority of its residents.
The region is geographically defined by the Lemström Canal, which was carved in 1882 to separate the main island of Åland from the Lemland peninsula. Historically, the municipality has served as an important maritime hub due to its strategic location within the Baltic Sea.
