Whites Flat is a rural locality located in the Eyre and Western region of South Australia. It falls within the administrative boundaries of the District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula.
The formal boundaries for the locality were established in October 2003 to recognize a long-established local name. The area was originally named in honor of pastoralist Samuel White.
