Walker Flat is a small town situated on the Murray River in South Australia. It is located approximately 104 kilometres, or about 65 miles, from the city centre of Adelaide.
The town serves as one of the locations where the river can be crossed by cable ferry. Historically, the community hosted a school that opened in 1948, though it has since closed.
