Ungarra is a small swamp town situated on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. It is located approximately 248 kilometres (154 mi) from Adelaide, the state's capital, and about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Port Lincoln.
According to census data, the population of Ungarra has experienced a decline in recent years. In 2006, the town recorded a population of 241 residents, which decreased to 156 by the 2021 census.
