Truro is a cathedral city and civil parish located in Cornwall, England. It serves as the county town of Cornwall and is the only city within the county. Situated approximately 232 miles (373 km) west-south-west of London, it holds the distinction of being the southernmost city in the United Kingdom.
The city functions as a primary center for administration, leisure, and shopping. According to the 2021 census, the population of the parish was 21,046, while the built-up area reached 23,060. The latter figure includes the Gloweth and Treliske areas located in the neighboring parish of Kenwyn.
