The City of Cockburn is a local government area situated in the southern suburbs of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia. It is located approximately 8 kilometres south of Fremantle and about 24 kilometres south of Perth's central business district.
The municipality covers a total land area of 167.5 square kilometres. According to the 2016 Census, the City of Cockburn had a population exceeding 104,000 residents.
