Landstraße is the third municipal district of Vienna, located in the state of Vienna, Austria. Situated near the city center, it is a densely populated urban area characterized by a mix of residential homes and workplaces. The district covers an area of 7.42 km² (2.86 sq mi) and has a population of approximately 89,834 inhabitants.

While much of the current district was established in the 19th century, its history dates back to around 1200 AD. A notable historical event occurred in the Erdberg neighborhood within the district in 1192, when English King Richard the Lionheart was captured following the unsuccessful Third Crusade.
