Hietzing is the 13th district of Vienna, located in the State of Vienna region in Austria. It is situated to the west of the city's central districts and lies west of Meidling.
The area is characterized as a heavily populated urban zone featuring numerous residential buildings. Despite its urban nature, Hietzing also contains large sections of the Vienna Woods and serves as the location for Schönbrunn Palace.
