Hernals is the 17th district of Vienna, located in the state of Vienna, Austria. It is situated in the northwestern part of the city.
The district was officially annexed into the city of Vienna in 1892. This expansion incorporated the former townships of Hernals, Dornbach, and Neuwaldegg into the municipal structure.
