La Rioja is an autonomous community and province located in the northern part of the Iberian Peninsula in Spain. It serves as one of the constituent regions of the country, characterized by its distinct geographical position within the nation.

The capital city of the province is Logroño. Other notable towns and cities within the region include Calahorra, Arnedo, Alfaro, Haro, Santo Domingo de la Calzada, and Nájera. As of 2024, the autonomous community had a population of 324,184, making it the least populated autonomous community in Spain.
