Barranqueras

Barranqueras is a city located in the southeastern part of the Chaco Province in Argentina. It is situated on a small tributary river along the western shore of the Paraná River, positioned only 7 kilometers from Resistencia, which serves as the provincial capital.

The city is part of the metropolitan area of Resistencia and ranks as the third most populated city within the province. According to the 2001 census conducted by INDEC, Barranqueras had a population exceeding 50,000 inhabitants.
