Ensenada is a city located within the Ensenada Municipality of Baja California, situated on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. It is positioned on Bahía de Todos Santos and serves as the third-largest city in the state of Baja California, with a population of 279,765 recorded in 2018.
The city functions as an important international trade center and hosts the Port of Ensenada, which is recognized as the second-busiest port in Mexico. Due to its warm climate and proximity to the Pacific Ocean, it is a major tourist destination and is frequently referred to by the nickname La Cenicienta del Pacífico.
