Kohnen Station

Kohnen Station is a German polar research facility located in Antarctica. It serves as a summer-only station and has the capacity to accommodate up to 28 people during its operational period.

The station was named in honor of Heinz Kohnen (1938–1997), a geophysicist who served for an extended period as the head of logistics at the Alfred Wegener Institute.
