Casey Station

Antarctica

Casey Station, commonly referred to as Casey, is one of three permanent research outposts and bases in Antarctica maintained by the Australian Antarctic Division (AAD). It is located on the northern side of the Bailey Peninsula, overlooking Vincennes Bay on the Budd Coast of Wilkes Land.

The station is situated within the Australian Antarctic Territory, a sector of Antarctica claimed by Australia as an external territory. Geographically, it lies approximately 3,880 kilometres (2,410 mi) due south of Perth, Western Australia.
