Samacá is a town and municipality located in the Central Boyacá Province within the Department of Boyacá in Colombia. It serves as a regional administrative center situated in the Andean highlands.
The municipality shares borders with several neighboring areas, including Cucaita, Tunja, and Ventaquemada to the east; Ráquira to the west; Sáchica, Sora, and Cucaita to the north; and Ventaquemada, Ráquira, and Guachetá in the department of Cundinamarca to the south.
