Xipundo is a municipality located in the Cuando Province in southeast Angola. Prior to the administrative reforms enacted in 2024, the area was known as Chipundo and functioned as a commune within the municipality of Rivungo in the province of Cuando Cubango.
The region covers an expansive land area of approximately 7,600 square kilometres (2,900 sq mi). According to data from 2014, the population of the former commune was recorded at 8,598 people.
