Cassoneca is a commune situated in Angola. It is currently located within the municipality of Catete, which serves as the capital of the province of Icolo e Bengo.
Prior to 2024, Cassoneca was part of the commune of Calomboloca in the municipality of Ícolo e Bengo, which was then part of the Luanda Province. The administrative status changed following the creation of the Icolo e Bengo province.
