Cafunfo is a town located in the north-eastern region of Angola. As of 2014, it had a recorded population of approximately 90,000 residents.
The area is primarily defined by its significant mineral resources, specifically numerous alluvial diamond deposits. Consequently, both formal and informal diamond mining industries dominate the local economy and landscape.
