Lubango is a municipality located in Angola and serves as the capital of the Huíla Province. Formerly known as Sá da Bandeira, the city has a population of 890,384 as of 2024.
The city center alone recorded a population of 805,272 in 2024. Due to its size, Lubango is recognized as the second-most populous city in Angola, following the capital city of Luanda.
