Zangakatun

Zangakatun is a village located in the Ararat Municipality within the Ararat Province of Armenia. It serves as a site of cultural and historical significance for the region.

The village is notably recognized as the birthplace and burial site of Paruyr Sevak, whose former residence has been preserved as a museum. Additionally, Zangakatun is home to a chapel dating back to the 10th century.
