Yeghegnadzor is a town and urban municipal community located in southern Armenia. It serves as the provincial capital for both the Vayots Dzor Province and the Yeghegnadzor Municipality.
The town is situated on the shores of the Srkghonk River at an elevation of 1,194 meters (3,917 ft) above sea level. It is located at a road distance of approximately 123 km (76 mi) south of Armenia's capital, Yerevan.
